Zelda's one-act play, Something On Your Mind, received its first staged reading in 2006 at NYU. Though admitting the dialogue was delightful, esteemed playwright Neal Bell declared that "the ending makes no sense." However, it got its second shot at stardom as part of Snorks and Pins Productions' Bad Love play festival in February 2013, where somehow the ending made sense (or at least no one mentioned it).

Zelda went on to write a scathing satire/farce of her post-university occupation as a temp receptionist in This is Hell, which received its first reading with Misfit Toys Repertory in May of 2008. In January of 2009 This is Hell was fully produced by Hip Obscurity, as part of a night of one-acts collectively titled Why I Hate My Job. This collection also included a shorter piece of Zelda's, Butterflies (also known as "The Elevator Play").

Zelda then wrote a one-woman show, Evidence, which Hip Obscurity workshopped in January of 2010. Over the course of the next year, Zelda toured this production to various NYC venues, including a stint at Theatre Row as part of the United Solo Festival.
Zelda is supposedly hard at work on her next play, a full-length beast with various titles including 101 Ways to Skin a Cat, Moderately Yours, or simply "The Marilyn Play."
